We arrived on Thursday and Papa was anxiously waiting for us at the airport. Soon after that Cooper finally got to meet his Aunt Kelly and his cousins, all of whom were as excited to meet him as he was them. Cooper definitely remembered Nana, Papa, and Aunt Melissa from their trips down to Atlanta to meet him. Cooper, Dawn, and I were all elated to finally meet the baby of the family, Ms. Harlow.
As always, the trip went by incredibly fast but we tried to squeeze in as much as possible while doing our best to keep Cooper on his schedule. We got to see one of Landon’s all-star games, saw Macy at her first day of lacrosse camp, and had family pictures taken. Most importantly, we spent a lot of time visiting with family and friends, playing with all our nieces and nephews, and spending a lot of time at Uncle Peter’s camp.
Before we knew it, it was Tuesday and we were heading back to Atlanta. Although the trip seemed to be over in the blink of an eye, it was great have Cooper finally meet friends and family who are so very special to us. He may not remember the trip but Dawn and I will never forget the amazing time we all had.
