Disney on Ice

Even though the Sesame Street Live experience did not go quite as planned, we could not pass up the opportunity to take Cooper to see his all time favorite – Mickey Mouse!  Dawn was able to get suite tickets through work for Disney on Ice so we thought maybe these seats, along with Mickey, would keep him more entertained.  When we sat down, Cooper looked around not sure of what was going on.  We did not have to worry though because the second Mickey and Minnie came out on the ice he was completely engaged.  Then when Donald and Goofy followed, it was a done deal.  A lot of the show was based on movies he had not seen but he did recognize a lot of the songs.  None of it really mattered as long as Mickey and the gang kept reappearing. 

The look of excitement on his face made it that much more enjoyable for Mom and Dad too, even if we were missing the first half of the Auburn game.  He seemed to thoroughly enjoy the whole show and we’re looking forward to taking him again soon.
